Residential Treatment Program – Magnolia Recovery Center

If you’re ready to put an end to substance use or addictive behaviors for good, residential treatment is the best way to achieve lifelong recovery.

Our residential treatment (also known as inpatient treatment) offers a comfortable, home-like atmosphere that serves as a safe haven from the addiction triggers you encounter in daily life. During your residential stay, our goal is to identify and treat the underlying causes of your addiction, so you’ll be able to leave treatment with the tools you need to stay sober for the long term. With a combination of personalized, evidence-based clinical treatment and holistic care, our peaceful environment will allow you to focus on healing the mind, body, and spirit supported by round-the-clock clinical care.

Our Approach to Treatment

Our residential treatment is highly personalized to each patient’s level of substance use, health history, lifestyle and medical needs. To ensure your treatment will work best for you, our intake process begins with a comprehensive clinical assessment to determine your specific needs in treatment. Then, our team of Board Certified clinicians will make an individualized treatment plan that caters specifically to your situation.

Your plan will include a full continuum of care with treatment methods that are medically proven in guiding patients to heal and recover. These treatment options may include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
  • Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT)
  • Individual and Group Therapies

In addition to these clinical treatment methods, we also incorporate holistic care and recreational activities to promote whole-patient wellness. These therapies and activities may include:

  • Yoga
  • Mindfulness/Meditation
  • Adventure-Based Therapy
  • Equine Therapy
  • Art or Music Therapy

Your residential stay will include a structured schedule with a combination of these therapies to help you stay on track and focused on recovery.  Clinical check-ins will also continue throughout treatment to make sure your personalized treatment plan is working effectively.

Ongoing Recovery Tips & Tools – Contact Magnolia Recovery Center

Your treatment program is only one part of your ongoing recovery process. The journey continues when you leave your Sunspire facility! We have tips and tools for you to get the most out of your recovery.

1. Follow through with your aftercare plan
If you’ve gone through a treatment program at Magnolia Recovery Center, you received an aftercare plan before you left. This aftercare plan has information about upcoming therapy and doctor’s appointments, local sober living and outpatient programs, and will provide you with contact information for the alumni coordinator at your facility. Stick with this plan and continue getting help and support as you recover!

2. Be open with family and friends
Be open with your friends and family about what you need from them to support your sobriety. Talk to them about your fears and hopes in your recovery and give them the chance to help you succeed. Communication is key to improve your relationships and continue recovering.

3. Spend time with those who support your recovery
Sometimes when you come home from treatment, friends who played a part in your addiction will show up again. It can be hard to turn away old friends, but we advise that you only spend time with the people you know will help you stay sober and safe.

4. Find healthy ways to manage stress
During your residential treatment, you learned healthy coping skills for difficult emotions, situations, and triggers. There are ways to manage stress that are healthy and productive, like yoga, meditation, deep breathing exercises, walks, music, art, or journaling. Find what works for you!

5. Eat well and get exercise
Your physical health is crucial to your overall well-being and to your recovery. When feeling good physically, your mental and emotional health improves, too. Eat nutritious meals and fresh foods as often as you can, and try to get 30-60 minutes of activity or exercise daily.

6. Get involved with local recovery support groups
Connecting with a recovery community is one of the key tools for recovery. It is invaluable to remain connected to a community that can provide empathy and support as you find your way in the first days, weeks, months, and years in recovery from addiction.

If you don’t have access to regular alumni meetings with Magnolia Recovery Center, you can connect to recovery support groups near you.

Here is a list of some groups you might consider:

7. Volunteer in your local community
Volunteering and connecting with other people to give back to your local community is a great way to stay busy and to boost your self-esteem in recovery. You could work at a food pantry on weekends, do park clean-up projects, help at an animal shelter, or join others doing volunteer work that speaks to you personally!

8. Ask for help when you need it
Don’t be too proud or too afraid to ask for help when you need it. Reach out to someone you trust, whether it’s a sponsor, your alumni coordinator, your counselor, your doctor, a friend, a partner, a parent—your recovery is too important to jeopardize! Call us at any time for support.

How To Begin | Rehab Program – Magnolia Recovery Center

If you made it to this page, there’s a great likelihood that you already know that you or someone you know has a problematic relationship with drugs and is ready to begin a rehab program – the good news is we are here to help you each step of the way.

The first step to beginning a rehab program is to call one of our admissions counselors. These Magnolia Recovery staff members are available to answer your specific questions about overcoming addiction and help you get placed at a facility that will fit best with your needs in treatment. You or the loved one you’re calling for will be asked to participate in a clinical screening to ensure we can properly care for the addiction – this is essential to ensure we can provide the clinical care you need which is the foundation of a successful outcome. When you call, be sure to have your insurance card on hand so we can help you learn how to cover the cost of treatment.

We are currently in-network with TRICARE, and we are able to work out-of-network with many of the common insurance plans. The best thing to do is to call our intake department and let them check your benefits. If you need to pay out of pocket for treatment, which many families do, then we can work with you to figure out payment options. Since this is unique for each patient’s needs, please call us to discuss. We work with most major insurance plans.

After the screening is complete and clinically approved, arrival at one of our facilities for residential treatment is scheduled as soon as possible. Our facilities provide transportation to treatment from the closest local airport for patients who are arriving from out of state. Other transportation can be arranged for patients who do not need to fly in to ensure that travel is not a burden to receiving the right addiction treatment.
